Long Term and Short Term Care

Long Term Care Fees

  • Single Room $4,000
  • 2 Room Suite-Single Occupancy $4,700 per month
  • 2 Room Suite-Double Occupancy $3,500 per person, per month ($7,000 total)
  • Non Refundable Move-In Fee $1,000
  • Short Term Care Fees

    Fees for short term stays of a minimum 6 weeks or less are determined at the time of application, based on the level of care needed. The current average rate for short term stay is $250.00 per day.

    • Ask current Physician to complete the Physician's Report found in this brochure and fax it to Magnolia Estates of Oconee at 706-543-0944
    • WE MUST HAVE THE COMPLETED PHYSICIAN’S REPORT INCLUDING EVIDENCE OF TUBERCULIN SKIN TEST AND RESULTS BEFORE ADMISSION CAN BE FINALIZED!
    • Provide the name of the local Primary Care Physician
    • Locate the Social Security Card, Medicare Card, and any Supplemental Insurance cards so we may make copies for the file
    • Contact Farmer's Oconee Pharmacy to open an account for medications at: 1160 Capital Ave., Watkinsville, GA 30677 706-769-1275
    • Come by Magnolia Estates for a packet of required paperwork to be completed upon acceptance of admission
    • Locate the Living Will, Power of Attorney,or Guardianship (if applicable) and Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care so we can make copies for the file
    • Make a list of allergies to any foods and/or medications
    • If necessary, for incontinence protection, arrangements can be made with a local vendor for incontinence supplies
    • Contact the newspaper for delivery here, if so desired
    • Have mail forwarded to Magnolia Estates, if so desired
    • Make a list of:
      • Any food dislikes. (Broccoli, Fish, Beans, etc...)
      • Drinks preferred with each meal. (Milk, Water, Tea, etc...)
      • Personal belongings. (family pictures, knick-knacks, furniture, etc...)
    • If Magnolia Estates will be responsible for laundry, you will need to label all clothing and personal items using a permanent marker including:
      • Coats, Sweaters, and Gloves
      • Shoes and Socks
      • Blouses and Skirts
      • Pants and Slacks
      • Dresses or Suits
      • Underwear (T-Shirts, Briefs, Bras, Panties)
      • Night Clothes (Pajamas or Nightgowns)
      • Bed Linens. (if applicable)
      • Towels. (if applicable)
    • Be sure to have hangers for the closet
